Tiger Woods again finds himself in hot water with authorities after another vehicle crash.

On March 27, Woods was traveling on a residential road in Jupiter Island, Florida, when authorities said his Land Rover SUV hit a truck, which caused the vehicle to flip on its side.

Woods showed signs of impairment, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Department, and was given a Breathalyzer test. But, he refused a urine test and was arrested. He was released on bail late Friday after spending the mandatory eight hours behind bars

“He’ll pay the price, but he’s not going to pay the price by getting punished in jail.” Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said, detailing the accident involving Woods.

2009: Woods hits fire hydrant

Woods’ public image took its first significant hit after the events of Nov. 27, 2009, when he ran into a fire hydrant with his Cadillac Escalade and hit a tree outside of his residence in Windermere, Florida, at around 2:30 a.m.

Woods had facial lacerations and had to be freed from the SUV by his former wife, Elin Nordegren, who used a golf club to smash the vehicle’s rear window. He was cited for careless driving.

Days before, it was reported that Woods had been unfaithful to his wife, and he took an extended break from golf, going to a rehabilitation clinic in Mississippi for 45 days after the fallout. He would return to play golf at the 2010 Masters. Months later, his divorce from Nordegren is finalized.

2017: Police find Woods asleep in car

Woods was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on May 30, 2017. Police in Jupiter, Florida, found him asleep at 3 a.m. behind the wheel of a black Mercedes, with the engine still running. He said he had an unexpected reaction to prescription medicine for his back pain.

Woods pled guilty to reckless driving; the DUI charge was dropped, and he completed a DUI diversion program.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office released a toxicology report on Woods, and he had Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien, and THC in his system when he was arrested. He subsequently checked into a clinic to get a handle on his addiction to prescription medication and a sleep disorder.

2021: Los Angeles car crash

Woods was in the Los Angeles area on Feb. 23, 2021, and was driving to a television shoot around 7:15 a.m. when he was involved in a single-car accident in a Genesis SUV.

Authorities from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office said that Woods was speeding, going nearly 90 mph on a 45 mph street. Woods struck a tree, which sent the vehicle into the air, coming to rest, and he suffered injuries to his right leg and right ankle, which doctors stabilized with rods and a combination of screws and pins. The accident came just a month after he announced that he needed a fifth surgery on his back.
