As everybody in the sports world knows already, golf legend Tiger Woods found himself in the spotlight once again after his latest car crash in Florida. But what stood out in newly released bodycam footage wasn’t just the accident or even the arrest—it was the high-profile phone call he made in the midst of the chaos.

Woods, who has maintained a longtime friendship with Donald Trump over the years, dialed up the President shortly after flipping his SUV.

It’s unclear why he chose to reach out to the leader of the free world in that potentially life-altering circumstance, but Tiger is seen casually conversing and ending his chat with, “Thank you so much. All right. You got it. Bye.”

He then informs a deputy, “Yeah, I was just talking with the President,” before holding up his phone as if to offer proof.

He informs those nearby that Trump was “very apologetic for what he did last night.”
