If you want to see the Las Vegas Summer League matchup on Thursday between Cooper Flagg and Bronny James, prepare to pay up.

The Dallas Mavericks-Los Angeles Lakers game at Thomas & Mack Center will see the summer league debut of Flagg, the No. 1 overall pick in last month’s NBA Draft, against the son of LeBron James. According to Vivid Seats, average ticket prices are up to $223, with the cheapest coming in around $85. A courtside seat will run you over $3,000.

There was similar excitement when Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs made his Las Vegas Summer League debut in 2023. Tickets for that Spurs-Charlotte Hornets game averaged $297 as the 2023 No. 1 pick scored nine points, hauled in eight rebounds and recorded five blocks in 27 minutes of action.

Ticket prices for the Flagg-James matchup are the highest since Wembanyama’s 2023 summer league debut, according to Vivid Seats.

Thursday’s game will be the second of the summer for James, who recorded 10 points as the Lakers beat the Miami Heat on Sunday. His night was highlighted by a steal and thunderous dunk in the first quarter.

After Thursday, the Mavericks will play against the Spurs, Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers and have potentially two more games if they reach the playoffs.
