So you say you’re into this Creator Classic thing?

Well, you’re in luck, as there’s two more scheduled during the 2025 PGA Tour season.

Wednesday saw the Creator Classic at TPC Sawgrass, the second event after the inaugural one last fall ahead of the Tour Championship. That event at East Lake Golf Club generated more than 2.7 million views on YouTube and was YouTube’s No. 2 trending video after the competition, which engaged nearly 60 million golf fans across all social media platforms during a four-week period.

Will there be more Creator Classics?

There are two more scheduled for the 2025 PGA Tour season.

The third installment of the Creator Classic, and second of the three in 2025, will be in conjunction with the Truist Championship (formally the Wells Fargo Championship), which is scheduled for May 8-11. The Truist is normally held at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte but that course is prepping to host the 2025 PGA Championship, so for 2025 only, the Truist and the third Creator Classic will be played at The Philadelphia Cricket Club.

The fourth Creator Classic will see a repeat visit to East Lake ahead of the 2025 Tour Championship.

Details on these two will be announced at a later date, according to the PGA Tour, including the field and the format.

Last December, the PGA Tour Creator Council was announced. That group consists of up to 10 top creators in the golf space.

“The Creator Council is about the Tour evolving,” said Andy Weitz, the PGA Tour’s chief marketing & communications officer/investor relations, in December. “It’s clear that there is a new fan base, a next generation of fans that want to consume content and learn about golf in general through different channels in different ways. It just makes sense to connect from those who are doing it well, who are maybe doing it best and learn from them what we can do better and what we can do together.”
