However, the rumors of The Phenomenal One showing up in Tony Khan’s promotion were emphatically shut down. A post on Facebook reported that Wrestling Mark has claimed that AJ Styles is going to make his AEW debut at the Revolution pay-per-view on 15 March.

AEW is known to spring up surprises on its PPVs, but this particular rumor holds no weight, according to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp. Responding to the Facebook post, Sapp poured cold water on the speculation with a clear “No.”

Styles looks set to be with WWE for the foreseeable future. He recently talked about taking up a new role with the company, which includes him scouting for talent on the independents.

The former U.S. champion also mentioned that the role will also see him work with main roster talent.

AEW star recently trained with AJ Styles

While AJ Styles may not be headed to AEW anytime soon, he has been working with a star from the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Recently, AEW’s Anthony Ogogo revealed that he trained with the veteran. He shared his experience and mentioned that it was a privilege to train with a legend like Styles.

Ogogo added that he got to live his second dream after being an Olympic athlete, and working with someone like Styles was special.
