Ford Racing is currently developing its new LMDh race car for the 2027 WEC season.
The prototype racer features a hybrid powertrain with a 5.4-liter V8.
Testing is now underway in Europe before the team brings the car to the US for more fine-tuning.
Ford’s bid for a win at Le Mans will be a massive undertaking. But the Ford Racing team is currently hard at work ensuring its race car is up to the task.
The Ford Hypercar is finally on track for proper testing. The motorsport division of the Blue Oval brand has been putting the LMDh competitor through its paces at Circuit Paul Ricard in France. And the car sounds incredible.
