The most expensive cards in Pokémon TCG Journey Together

Following up the Battle Partners set, Journey Together is the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game for collectors to get excited about—and despite not being officially out yet, some of the cards are already selling for unbelievable sums.

To help you figure out which cards to chase as a collector, we’ve gathered the top five most valuable cards in Pokémon TCG Journey Together.

Journey Together features a wide range of beautiful full art pieces and powerful cards, with one of the most notable inclusions being the return of Owner’s Pokémon to the PTCG scene.

We’ve used data from Cardmarket, Price Charting, Poke Data, and eBay auctions to pull together this list. As the set drops on March 28, prices are subject to change as the cards settle into the community, so check back for updates over the coming weeks.

5) Hop’s Zacian ex (186/159)

With a rich color scheme and ethereal light effect, this card is a sight to behold. The variants of Hop’s Zacian ex have already garnered a lot of hype in the collector’s community, with this Special Illustration Rare standing out as a must-have for collectors.

We found listings for this card ranging from $85 to $180 on most platforms, with a few cheaper auctions featuring ungraded copies. If you’re hoping to add this to your collection, make sure to shop around to find the best price possible.

4) Iono’s Bellibolt ex (183/159)

Iono is one of the most popular characters featured in this expansion set, so it’s no wonder that this card has been raking in high prices pre-launch.

It’s a bright and vibrant card, selling for anywhere between $136 and $180, with the potential to gain value over time. If you pull any of the cards with Iono’s Bellibolt, make sure to sleeve them and look after them as they could be highly sought-after in the future.

3) N’s Zoroark ex (185/159)

Out of all the Trainer’s Pokémon in Journey Together, we were predicting that this duo would take the top spot.

It’s not the most valuable card in the set at the time of writing, ranging from $107 to $220 depending on platform and quality, but it could spike in value over the next few weeks based on the popularity of the featured characters and the dynamic art style.

2) Salamence ex (187/159)

While many of the top spots in this list have been filled by Owner’s Pokémon cards, it’s unsurprising to see Salamence ex up top. This is arguably one of the most visually striking cards in the set, managing to be both beautiful and ferocious at the same time.

During our research, we found listings ranging from $150 to $245, with prices veering towards the $200 mark on most platforms.

1) Lillie’s Clefairy ex (184/159)

Currently, the Special Illustration Rare version of Lillie’s Clefairy ex is putting every other card in the set to shame in terms of value. The prices vary based on your chosen platform and whether you’re looking at graded copies or not, ranging from $190 to $330.

While any card with Lillie and Clefairy is likely to sell well as they’re both popular in their own right, the delightful artwork from Susumu Maeya is the driving force here. It’s a whimsical and cheery card that perfectly captures the personality of both characters.
