Your intrepid Forecaddie – who for years teed up the opening pages of every Golfweek magazine – leads a charmed life, walking courses and advising golfers he never imagined seeing as a younger version of The Man Out Front. Coast to coast and well beyond, his well-worn sneakers have trod upon hallowed turf.  Now it’s your turn.

The Forecaddie Collective offers opportunities for free membership in 2026 and the chance to play interesting golf courses, plus a lot more in development. Click here to join The Forecaddie Collective.

The Man Out Front wants to share some of his most cherished experiences with all players, and in that direction, he is working with Golfweek to launch a new, open-to-everyone golf club: The Forecaddie Collective.

It’s all about access to interesting layouts most people only dream about, sometimes before they even open, with occasional opportunities to pick the brains of the designers who made such courses happen. The Forecaddie is kicking things off with at least four events this year, all open to club members. Best of all: Membership is free to anyone who joins in 2026. Players need only pay for the events they choose to enter. Details and pricing on each event are coming soon.

Things begin with a bang in May, when The Forecaddie Collective takes flight at the brand-new, private Loraloma near Austin, Texas. David McLay Kidd laid out the course, and he will be on hand to welcome The Forecaddie Collective to a day of golf, food and discussion. Ever dreamed of having access to a new, elite private club? Here’s your chance. The Forecaddie says, “You’re welcome.”

There’s more architecture talk on tap in June, when The Forecaddie hosts a group at the recently renovated Poppy Ridge and Golden Gate Park Golf Course in California. Jay Blasi did the work on both courses, and he will lead the way on a packed day of play and golf study that includes a quick stop at another course he’s renovating nearby. The Forecaddie’s advice: Be sure to pack your most comfortable shoes – this will be a long and unforgettable day.

From there, The Forecaddie is headed to two courses that won’t even be fully open yet: Rodeo Dunes by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw in Colorado in July, then Streamsong’s new course by Kidd in Florida in September. The Forecaddie Collective will be among the first to see these layouts as they approach their grand debuts.

Along the way, The Forecaddie Collective will grow. The Man Out Front hopes to add you and all your golfing friends as he and Golfweek’s editorial and events staff – which has hosted more than a thousand exclusive golf course rating trips since 1998 – build out membership benefits such as a dedicated website, video and social interactions. Follow The Forecaddie Collective on X, Instagram and Facebook for more to come soon. In the meantime, keep an eye out for The Forecaddie – he’s The Man Out Front, and now he’s back.
