Ronda Rousey has had two successful stints in WWE, though she has said some bad things about the company in interviews after her departure. Rousey recently shared something about Vince McMahon, the former chairman of the biggest wrestling company in the world.

“Rowdy” first made her name as an Olympian before transitioning to mixed martial arts. She was signed to the UFC, with Dana White promoting her as one of the biggest stars of the sport.

In WWE, Ronda Rousey got to work with Vince McMahon and saw the similarities and differences between the two successful businessmen. Rousey revealed in an appearance on the Bertcast with Bert Kreischer what was the most important thing for McMahon, and it wasn’t making money.

“I think Vince didn’t really care about how successful the company or how much money he was making. He cared about how much influence he had on other people, culturally. So he was trying to impress his viewpoint of the world on everybody else through that. The bottom line be damned,” Rousey said.

While Ronda Rousey is thankful for her time with WWE, she didn’t like how plans quickly changed on the fly under Vince McMahon. She’s a fan of the company’s stories, but sometimes things would get rushed and not have the result that people would have wanted.

Ronda Rousey confirms she’s not returning to pro wrestling

After two years since her last match, Ronda Rousey confirmed that she has no plans to return to pro wrestling. Rousey told Bert Kreischer on the Bertcast that she has moved on and won’t be making a comeback.

“I’m probably not going to be going back. I’m very grateful for the experience and what I was able to help the women do to get to the main event of WrestleMania. But, you know, it’s not my circus, not my monkeys,” Rousey said.

Rousey main evented WrestleMania 35, along with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in a Winner’s Take All triple threat match for the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships.
