A roundup of Southwest Florida high school contests played the week of Oct. 20-25, 2025.
MONDAY
Boys Golf
LCAC Championship: Estero won the Lee County boys team title at Cape Royal, shooting a 302, ahead of second-place Fort Myers (309) and third-place North Fort Myers (351).
Fort Myers’ Henry Liebwein won the individual title, shooting a 70, while Gateway’s Beau Rassatt and Estero’s Rylan Stewart tied for second with 73s. Rounding out the top five were North Fort Myers’ Bryan Fischer 74, and Estero’s AJ White, who tied for fourth with 74s
Estero’s other two scorers for the county title were Jesus Bethencourt (76), and Derek Van Roekel (79).
Barron Collier 146, St. John Neumann 156: The Barron Collier boys golf team earned a victory over St. John Neumann, firing a team score of 2-over-par at Club Pelican Bay.
Leading the way for the Cougars were Jack Ryan Donovan and Ian Psota, both carding 1-under-par 35. Zachary Felton and Matthew Johnson contributed with rounds of 38. For St. John Neumann, Chase Mazzola, Grant Noren, and Ryan Toole all posted scores of 37.
Girls Golf
St. John Neumann 169, FBA 200: Mia Trigilio led the Celtics with a 40, followed by Audrey Blanco (42), Aria Trigilio (43), and Olivia Blanco (44). Makayla Caine was medalist for the Lions with a 39.
