It is a surprising addition to the show because, apart from the one backstage segment where Lyra Valkyria interrupted an interview featuring IYO SKY and Sol Ruca, there hadn’t been any indication that the two stars will meet each other inside the squared circle anytime soon. The last time Valkyria wrestled SKY in a singles match was in December 2024.

IYO SKY and Lyra Valkyria were in action last week on Monday Night RAW. The Genius of the Sky wrestled La Catalina and Roxanne Perez in a three-way battle for a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The Prodigy pinned SKY to emerge victorious in an engaging contest.

Lyra Valkyria, on the other hand, had a better outing. She scored another win over arch-rival Bayley. The Irish star ended the bout with a sudden roll-up pin while grabbing The Role Model’s tights.

The abrupt ending to the match suggests that Bayley and Lyra Valkyria still have unfinished business to attend. It won’t be surprising if the former Damage CTRL leader shows up to cost Valkyria her match against IYO SKY later tonight.

Another massive singles match scheduled for WWE RAW

As mentioned above, The Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez won her Triple Threat Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match last week on Monday Night RAW.

A week before that, former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice made her RAW debut. She put forth a praiseworthy performance and defeated Kelani Jordan and Roxanne Perez’s stablemate, Raquel Rodriguez, to secure a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

On the upcoming edition of the red brand’s show, Lola Vice and Roxanne Perez will compete in a singles contest. The two stars have previously wrestled each other on WWE NXT, and The Prodigy has a 3-0 record against the 28-year-old in broadcasted one-on-one contests.
