Sammy Smith is on the pole for Saturday’s The LiUNA! NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

JR Motorsports swept the top three positions in Friday’s qualifying session, with Carson Kvapil and Connor Zilisch starting 2nd and 3rd.

Neither winner from last year’s two races in Las Vegas (John Hunter Nemechek, AJ Allmendinger) is entered into this weekend’s race. Austin Hill is the only former Xfinity Series race winner at Las Vegas in Saturday’s race.
