Ohio Heroes will host its 2025 golf outing at 9 a.m. Sept. 12 at the Raintree Golf & Event Center in Uniontown.
This year’s honorary hero is Cleveland police officer Jamieson Ritter, who was shot and killed at 1 a.m. July 4, 2024, while serving a felony warrant in the Hough neighborhood. Ritter served with the Cleveland Police Department for four years. He also was a first lieutenant in the Ohio Army National Guard with a deployment to Syria in 2022.
The cost is $125 per person or $500 per team, and that includes 18 holes of golf with cart per person, breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages. Space is limited to 30 teams.
Checks should be made payable to Ohio Heroes. Completed forms with the team name, the team captain’s name, address, phone number and email and the names of the other three team members should be mailed to 1202 N. Main St., North Canton, Ohio, 44720.
