WWE Superstar Seth Rollins shared an update today while recovering from a major injury. The Visionary reportedly suffered the injury during his victory over Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel 2025.

Rollins was betrayed by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed earlier this month on WWE RAW as a way to write him off television. The veteran also had to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship due to his injury.

The band, A Day to Remember, shared an update on Instagram today, and Rollins was featured in one of the photos while wearing a sling on his arm. Rollins shared the photo on his Instagram story, and you can check it out in the image below.

Jey Uso won a Battle Royal earlier this month on WWE RAW to become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. He will be facing CM Punk for the vacant title at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend. Punk and AJ Lee teamed up to defeat Rollins and Becky Lynch in a mixed tag team match last month at Wrestlepalooza 2025.

Bill Apter shares scrapped WWE plans for Seth Rollins

Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently revealed some canceled plans for Seth Rollins following his injury.

Speaking on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Apter shared plans the company had for Rollins during his title reign. He noted that Rollins would have eventually defended his title against Bron Breakker or Bronson Reed, but that will no longer be the case.

“I think it’s definitely a legit injury. I definitely do because they had a lot of plans for Seth Rollins to move forward with that title and probably defend it against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, the Brons. But that’s not going to happen right now. That’ll happen down the line.” Apter said.

CM Punk defeated Gunther at WWE SummerSlam 2025 to win the World Heavyweight Championship. However, Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract minutes later to become the new champion. It will be fascinating to see if CM Punk can get the better of Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend to become World Heavyweight Champion once again.
