Rey Mysterio is currently involved in a feud with The Vision, where he has the backing of Dragon Lee and Penta. However, the legend was nowhere to be seen on RAW, and we now know the reason behind the same. According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Master of 619 is dealing with a minor injury. He is, though, expected to make his return soon.

Ex-WWE star commented on his match against Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, who has faced a plethora of stars in his three-decade-long career. Recently, Ricochet opened up about his first match against the WWE legend, noting that Mysterio was worried before the match due to his knee problem.

“Yeah, that was a big one for me because he had expressed to me, too. Going over stuff, he was like ‘I don’t know if I’m going to be able to,’ because he was worried about his knees, and I said, ‘Brother, I got you, don’t worry about it.'”

Richochet is no longer a part of WWE. He departed the company in 2024 after the expiry of his contract. The high-flyer is now a part of AEW and is their National Champion.
