Now, on the latest edition of the developmental show, DarkState’s Osiris Griffin was shown lying on the ground after a backstage attack. His teammates came to check on him to find out that Tony D’Angelo attacked him. Interim NXT General Manager Robert Stone tried to calm down the group, but Dion Lennox became furious and came out to the ring to call out D’Angelo.

The two stars went at each other on the microphone. Tony D’Angelo mentioned how Dion Lennox ruined things for him last year, which forced him to go on a hiatus. However, he was now a different man and promised to take out DarkState one by one. D’Angelo then vowed to defeat Lennox and ‘bury’ DarkState once and for all at WWE NXT Vengeance Day on March 7, 2026.
