Roman Reigns has not been seen in WWE for nearly two months now. The world is eagerly waiting for the OTC to return and get revenge on Paul Heyman for betraying him at WrestleMania 41.
However, while he is off television, Reigns has received a message of encouragement from a cousin of his. WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi recently took to Instagram and posted a clip of Roman talking about driving the company’s growth.
The Attitude Era icon shared the reel, which is from a previous documentary on Roman Reigns. The former Universal Champion was candid about his time on top and that he wants more:
“As a man, if you’re useful they’ll always keep you around. No matter what you do, no matter how bad you hurt them. If you have purpose, they have to acknowledge you. They have to respect you. I’m a multi-million dollar business myself because I fuel a multi-billion dollar business, and that doesn’t seem like enough to me. I want more. And it comes back to one thing. They all say the same s**t; I love to wrestle, I love the fans. Yeah cool, man. Ask anybody at the top what it really means to be over. Who’s really winning. There’s more to be had,” said Roman Reigns.
Rikishi sent the OTC a message in the caption of his Instagram post:
“FACTS ‘You fuel a billion dollars business’ Check ✅,” he wrote.
Big things are expected from Roman Reigns when he returns to WWE. Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins’ new faction has gone from strength to strength in his absence.
Roman Reigns’ potential WWE SummerSlam 2025 opponent
With Seth Rollins holding the Money in the Bank contract, there is every chance he could be the World Heavyweight Champion by SummerSlam. However, that isn’t too likely, following Gunther’s win over Jey Uso this week.
So, The Visionary could instead face Roman Reigns at The Biggest Party of the Summer. It’s just a matter of what happens with CM Punk, since he himself is yet to get revenge on Rollins. A match against Bron Breakker or Bronson Reed seems possible, with Sami Zayn and Main Event Jey potentially in the mix as well.
Reigns could face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam, but Breakker and Reed cannot be ruled out as potential opponents, too. WWE may choose to hold off on the singles match between the former Shield brothers for a later premium live event.
