Rickie Fowler tees it up at the first round of The Open Championship at Royal Portrush on Thursday, where he is paired with Adam Scott and amateur Ethan Fang. Fowler, who opted not to play The Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club last week, will head to Royal Portrush with positive momentum, coming off a strong showing at the John Deere Classic earlier this month where he finished T18.
Rickie Fowler has made 13 Open appearances and his best finish at The Open Championship came back in 2014 where he finished tied for 2nd at Royal Liverpool with Sergio Garcia, two strokes behind winner, Rory McIlroy.
