Rhea Ripley shared a one-word reaction to a WWE name dressing up as her for Halloween. Ripley teamed up with IYO SKY to defeat The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) earlier this month at Crown Jewel 2025.
Earlier today, backstage interviewer Cathy Kelley revealed that she dressed up as The Eradicator for Halloween. The two stars have humorously flirted with each other on social media for a while now, and Ripley reacted to Kelley’s attempt to dress up as her ahead of tonight’s edition of SmackDown.
“MAMI! đ,” she wrote.
Ripley and IYO SKY squared off for the Women’s World Championship at Evolution 2025, but Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to become the new champion. The Glow recently had to relinquish the title due to her pregnancy with Jimmy Uso. Stephanie Vaquer defeated IYO SKY to capture the vacant title last month at Wrestlepalooza 2025.
Vince Russo comments on Rhea Ripley’s presentation on WWE television
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently suggested that Rhea Ripley needed to change her attitude on WWE television to match her presentation.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW show, Russo noted that Ripley was not behaving like a Goth, despite her dressing as such. He suggested that the 29-year-old become moodier on WWE RAW to match her look.
“I could ask you right now what’s Rhea Ripley’s gimmick? Because Rhea Ripley’s gimmick is not Goth. That’s not how Goth [works], bro. The scenes in the back with her and IYO SKY, that’s not Goth, bro. That’s not Goth. I mean, she can dress goth all she wants. If she doesn’t act goth, then she’s not Goth. She’s just putting on Goth makeup. So, if you’re going to be Goth, be Goth. And you’re not going to have those scenes with IYO SKY in the back, man. You’re going to be dark. You’re going to be moody. You’re not going to say a lot. You’re going to be in your own little world. Nobody’s going to be able to figure you out. That’s not her persona,” Russo said.
It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Ripley in the weeks ahead.
