Ripley sent out a tweet earlier today, apologizing for letting that happen to her. But it was also a shot at another woman, one that both members of RhIYO know all too well, Asuka.

Ripley’s post was a quote tweet, a response to SKY, who claimed Asuka has been using Kairi Sane, someone who cares for her, as a shield. Ripley said she’d never want to use SKY like that, but that’s what happened on RAW, and it will never happen again.

Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY’s friendship was one forged in fire, as the pair have been rivals on-and-off since their WWE NXT days. Despite picking up the win, SKY ended up worse for wear. Cargill jumped SKY while Ripley was held against the corner by Michin and B-Fab. Mami had no choice but to watch Cargill brutalize her best friend with a kendo stick until it shattered into pieces. A Jaded sealed the deal, and Jade and company left while Ripley held IYO in her arms.

It was a terrifying moment for Rhea Ripley, arguably the most intense moment in the entire feud so far. With only a few shows left until WrestleMania 42, Ripley will surely be looking for revenge before her title bout.
