“She’s doing good. She’s about a month and a weekend of training in, and she picks up very fast. But she also gets very frustrated very easy, but it’s normal. She wasn’t around as much like Dom [was as a kid], backstage playing and hanging out with the boys and the wrestlers and the staff and crew. So, she struggles a little bit. She’s completely new to the industry in the sense that training, knowing wrestlers, knowing wrestling names, moves, all these little things that if you try to combine everything at once, you’re gonna go crazy cause there’s so much, so much to learn here! Dominik Mysterio, on the other hand, was a part of a WWE storyline even back in 2005. According to Rey, Dominik spent time backstage with wrestlers and WWE staff as a child. He later became a WWE wrestler and is now the AAA Mega Champion.

Rey Mysterio loses to Omos in the main event of AAA Triplemania 34 Night 1

Omos was reinstated to AAA after defeating WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio in the main event of Triplemania 34 Night 1 in Las Vegas. Mysterio connected with two 619s, a West Coast Pop, and a Frog Splash, but Omos shocked the crowd by kicking out at two.

Dominik Mysterio’s attack on El Grande Americano outside the ring distracted Rey. Omos then hit the WWE legend with a big boot and chokeslam to secure the victory. The attack continued after the match, though. Omos shoved aside the medical personnel attending to Rey and delivered a second chokeslam through the announce table while Rey was still strapped to a backboard.
