After the Boston Red Sox were handed an 8-3 loss by the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday, the two teams will meet for the second game of their two-game set at Fenway Park on Wednesday.
For the contest, Boston will send Nick Pivetta to the mound while Atlanta will counter with Spencer Schwellenbach.

Pivetta hasn’t been the best this season for the Red Sox, posting a 4.08 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP in his seven starts. He allowed five runs on seven hits, three home runs and one walk over four innings against the Braves earlier this year.
Eight Braves have hit off of him – Kelenic (1-for-5), Olson (2-for-10 with a home run, two RBIs and three walks) Riley (4-for-18 with two home runs, four RBIs and two walks), Albies (7-for-33 with three RBIS), Arcia (6-for-7 with two home runs, four RBIs and a walk), d’Arnaud (3-for-6 with a home run and three RBIs), Duvall (3-for-9) and Ozuna (8-for-26 with six home runs and 14 RBIs).
Schwellenbach, 24, is a rookie who debuted last Wednesday against the Washington Nationals, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five over five innings in the loss. He’s the No. 3 prospect in the Braves’ system.
