The 2026 summer transfer window is already shaping up to be a pivotal one for Real Madrid, with there being several issues in the squad that need to be addressed.
The priority, as things stand, is to sign at least one top midfielder and one or two new centre-backs depending on how things progress in the coming months.

There will be some departures as well, with David Alaba already tipped for a departure, while the futures of Antonio Rudiger and Dani Carvajal also remain uncertain.
Ceballos, Fran Garcia, and Brahim to go as well?
Now, according to Rodra on ESPN, the trio of Dani Ceballos, Fran Garcia, and Brahim Diaz could also be used by Real Madrid to generate funds in the summer.
None of the three players are regulars in the team and may well be sacrificed to raise funds and create room for new signings.
Ceballos has been linked with an exit regularly for some time now. He was even close to leaving on loan last summer only to make a late U-turn and stay put at the Bernabeu.

The Spaniard, who was not a regular under Xabi Alonso and continues to struggle for minutes under Alvaro Arbeloa, was open to a January exit as well, but nothing came of it.
As for Garcia, as things stand, he has been demoted to fourth choice at left-back with Alvaro Carreras, Ferland Mendy, and even Eduardo Camavinga ahead of him.
A loan move to Bournemouth was close in January, but Real Madrid pulled the plug on the operation. The Merengues will entertain offers for him in the summer, as long as they are for a permanent transfer.
Brahim, meanwhile, has proven himself to be a handy utility player and a valuable player to have in the squad.

However, with Real Madrid expected to bring Nico Paz back next season and the continued backing of Franco Mastantuono could render the Moroccan international surplus to requirements.
With suitors in the Premier League, he could fetch Los Blancos a decent transfer fee.
