Veteran wrestling journalist and Sportskeeda Wrestling senior editor Bill Apter recently shared his thoughts on Jacob Fatu’s turn. The United States Champion decided to betray Solo Sikoa this weekend at Money in the Bank.

Fatu and JC Mateo rushed to the ring during the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. They took out Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in a bid to help Solo. However, just when the Street Champion had his fingertips on the briefcase, the Samoan Werewolf pulled him down. Fatu destroyed Solo with a Moonsault, followed by a Uranage on a ladder.

Speaking with Sportskeeda during an exclusive interview, Bill Apter detailed that the babyface turn was a huge moment in Fatu’s career. He felt the star could now align with Jey Uso and even Jimmy Uso on SmackDown. He pointed out that this development would open a lot of doors for the US Champ in WWE.

“Something nobody’s probably filled up, but now with Jacob Fatu as a babyface, as a good guy, maybe he will align himself with Jey Uso. Or with Jey and Jimmy Uso,” Apter said.

Apter reckoned that Jacob Fatu being at odds with Solo Sikoa could lead to a big matchup between the two. He felt SummerSlam would be the best place for the two stars to settle their differences once and for all.
