Tama Tonga, alongside other members of MFT, is currently feuding with The Wyatt Sicks. The two factions have competed against each other on multiple occasions, including the one time Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga defeated Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy to win the Tag Team Championship on the January 23 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. They will have their first title defense tonight on the blue brand against R-Truth and Damian Priest.

In his most recent in-ring appearance, Tama Tonga defeated former United States Champion Ilja Dragunov on the February 20 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
After the show, the member of The MFT posted a video of himself pointing out that he has already won the tag team championship twice within his first two years in the company. Tonga added that he had been in the business for twenty years and had started making strides in the Stamford-based wrestling promotion now.
It remains to be seen what plans World Wrestling Entertainment has in store for Tama Tonga going forward.
