Pablo Torre has officially left Barcelona to join Mallorca in a permanent deal. The midfielder, who spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Girona, has signed a contract that will keep him at Mallorca until 2029.
The agreement was finalised yesterday, with Mallorca paying €5 million for 50% of Torre’s rights.
Barcelona have made sure to protect their interests by keeping a buy-back option and a right of first refusal if Mallorca decides to sell him in the future.
Soon after the transfer became official, Torre took to Instagram to share a farewell message with Barcelona fans. Alongside 13 photos capturing his journey at the club, Torre wrote:
“My first games in professional football, my first goals, my first titles, playing with the best. You never forget the first times. Thank you.”
His message showed his appreciation for his time at Barcelona, despite the challenges he faced during his stay.

Torre’s time at Barcelona was not easy. The competition in the midfield was intense, and as a result, he struggled to get the regular playing time he wanted.
Over two seasons with the first team, Torre made just 27 appearances, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists. In the 2023/24 season, he was loaned to Girona, where he gained more experience in La Liga.
Now, at Mallorca, Torre is looking forward to a new chapter in his career. After the move was confirmed, he expressed his excitement about joining the Balearic club.
“I am very happy, it is a project that excites me, and I have come to play. This could turn out very well,” Torre said.
Mallorca are confident that Torre will be a key part of their project, while Barcelona will keep a close eye on his progress.
