Continuing the series of departures from the youth and reserve ranks of FC Barcelona, Arnau Pradas has confirmed that he is leaving the club this summer.

One of the most highly-rated young wingers at La Masia, Pradas was a key part of the Barça Juvenil A setup that won the historic treble this past season under Juliano Belletti.

The 19-year-old attacker also featured a few times for Barça Atletic in the 2024/25 season.

Taking to Instagram earlier today, Arnau Pradas confirmed his departure from Barcelona with a touching message to the club.

“Dear Blaugrana family, I have something important to tell you,” he started.

“Twelve years ago I arrived at this club as a child full of hopes and desire to grow, not only as a footballer, but also as a person. It is difficult for me to find the words to express what I feel now because it is not easy to say goodbye to what has been my home for so long.”

Continuing, he wrote: “From the Pre-benjamin until today, I have been able to close this cycle in the best possible way, even so, all the years I have lived many inexplicable situations that will always remain within me.”

Thanking everyone who played a part in his journey at Barcelona, Pradas wrote: “I would like to thank all those who have been part of this club by my side, and above all my teammates for helping me to improve every day.

“On the other hand, proud of the family that I have for accompanying me on this path at all times.”

Concluding, he added: “I will always carry the feeling of this team wherever I go because it is something special, so that in the future our paths can meet again. Visca el Barça!”

Following that, it has been confirmed that Pradas has signed for Al-Wahda FC in the UAE, following in the footsteps of Pau Prim and Unai Hernandez, who also moved to the Middle East after leaving Barça.
