Pau Cubarsi makes a return in the defensive line, where he partners with Eric Garcia, meaning Ronald Araujo has been left out. Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde reclaim their starting berths at full-back from Joao Cancelo and Gerard Martin, respectively.

In attack, Flick has decided to stick with Robert Lewandowski as his No. 9 ahead of Ferran Torres, while Lamine Yamal starts on the right and Marcus Rashford on the left, in the continued absence of Raphinha.
