The NFL announced the schedule for joint practices in the upcoming preseason, which involves 29 of the league’s 32 teams. In 2024, 30 teams participated in joint practices before the season kicked off in September.
On Wednesday, the league published the joint practices timeline, which will run from Aug. 5 through Aug. 21. Teams are allowed to conduct up to four joint practices and typically share training grounds leading up to a preseason game. However, league rules forbid teams from having joint practices the day before the tune-up matches.

The NFL announced in May that all but two teams will play three preseason games, as the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions are set to play four due to the Hall of Fame Game on July 31.
