Although the match hasn’t been made official yet, Nia Jax, who failed to defeat Chelsea Green for the title on the September 11 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, is already backing Nikki Bella to dethrone The Hot Mess. The Irresistible Force let her thoughts known through her comment on Nikki’s Instagram post.

“New champ loading….🙌,” Jax wrote.

After the then-WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley announced that she had to take time off due to an injury, a five-woman ladder match was announced for SummerSlam to crown a new Interim WWE Women’s Champion. Chelsea Green won the bout to secure the gold. Earlier this month, the Stamford-based promotion quietly dropped the “interim” label, as The Eradicator is expected to be out of action for a while.

Nikki Bella scored a massive win on WWE SmackDown

Nikki Bella finally turned heel at WWE SummerSlam after the team of The Bella Twins and Paige lost their six-woman tag team match against Fatal Influence. Nikki brutally attacked Paige after the bout ended.

Unfortunately, Brie Bella sustained a shoulder injury during the match. While she was forced out of action, Nikki and Paige continued their feud on the blue brand’s show.

Things got serious between the two former tag team partners as they passed some personal remarks to mock each other. Nikki and Paige finally competed against each other in a singles match on the September 11 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

However, the bout was underwhelming, as it lasted about three and a half minutes. The match ended abruptly in controversial fashion when Bella rolled Paige up into a pinfall with feet stacked onto the ropes.

Considering the anticlimactic finish to their match, it won’t be surprising if Paige makes her presence felt in case Nikki Bella challenges Chelsea Green for the WWE Women’s Championship.
