While DeMar DeRozan gets ready to enter free agency this offseason, the 15-year veteran stated that he would like to re-sign with the Chicago Bulls.
DeRozan spoke with former NBA guard Lou Williams on the Run It Back show where he had nothing but positive things to say about the city of Chicago and the Bulls organization.
“It’s definitely somewhere I’d like to return to,” said DeRozan. “No matter how tough the situation might look, I’m one of those guys that tries to stick it through and try to make something out of nothing. The city is great, I love the city, the organization been great. It’s definitely a place I would love to return to, and take care of unfinished business.”

DeRozan has spent the past three seasons with the Bulls after signing a three-year, $81,900,000 contract as a free agent in the 2021 offseason.
However, the team has only made the playoffs once during that period, losing 4-1 in the first round to the Milwaukee Bucks during the 2021-22 post-season.
The 34-year-old wing continues to put up strong numbers, averaging 24.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists while shooting 48% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range.
This season, the Bulls finished as the #9 seed in the Eastern Conference. In the play-in tournament, the team beat the Atlanta Hawks in the first game but lost on the road to the Miami Heat to fall short of making the playoffs.
