Kyle Larson is the winner in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Las Vegas. He wins over fellow Cup Series regular Chase Briscoe. His car came to him late in the race. It was far from his usual dominant performance in the series. The result was all the same, though.

It was a really good day for JR Motorsports. They had three of the top-five finishers, four of the top-10, and Kvapil was P11. Not a bad day for Dale Jr. and his team.

A few things to note from this race – Sheldon Creed might be a real championship threat. That is, if he wins more races. Also, Corey Day is not a bad driver. He finished P8 in this race, but was leading when the final caution came out. If the race goes green to the finish, maybe he pulls it off, maybe not. Still, he’s showing improvement each week.

Rajah Caruth earns a top-20 in the No. 32 car. He had been racing in the top-10 at points in the race. If he can get through his stints at Jordan Anderson Racing with solid, consistent performances, he’s going to be well-situated going into the Chase later this season.
