Kyle Busch – Top-10 Finish (+215)

It has not exactly been a promising start to the season for Kyle Busch, especially if you exclude him winning the pole for the Daytona 500. He has finished 20th or worse in the last two races and three times this season. However, this is a return home for the future Hall of Famer, and he finished eighth here in October. While the spring race at Las Vegas last year ended poorly (33rd place), he qualified fourth. We think Busch can rediscover some magic in Las Vegas, snagging a top-10 finish.

Ross Chastain – Top-5 Finish (+210)

Ross Chastain and the No. 1 team arrive in Las Vegas hopeful of getting back on track after a bad two-race stretch at COTA (35th) and Phoenix (28th). It’s worth remembering some context with those results. At COTA, Chastain had one of the fastest cars before the right-rear tire detached on Lap 75. This past weekend, Chastain was in sixth when Joey Logano got into him, and the No. 1 car spun up the track and into traffic. He’s consistently put himself in the top 10 in the final stage and does have a top-3 finish (Atlanta) this season. At Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where he has three top-fives and a 9.3 average finishing position in the last six races, we believe Chastain finishes fourth or better.

Denny Hamlin – Top-3 Finish (+210)

After seemingly having a top-five car at Daytona (finished 31st) and Atlanta (finished 13th) only to suffer damage and drop back, Denny Hamlin and the No. 11 team have strung together a pair of great performances. He finished 10th at COTA, which he admits is like a top-five for him, and then placed fifth at Phoenix with the third-most stage points. The aggravated shoulder injury from before the season seems to be less and less of an issue, and he is now back at the track where he won last October. While we are not projecting the No. 11 team to be celebrating in victory lane on Sunday, we will say that he snags a top-3 finish in the spring race at Las Vegas for the first time since 2007.

Joey Logano – Race Winner (+1100)

There is certainly a temptation to pick either Kyle Larson or Christopher Bell to win the Pennzoil 400 on Sunday. We are going in a different direction. While Joey Logano finished 15th at the spring race here last season, he finished with the third-most laps led (40) and qualified second. Back in 2024, he won the pole at Las Vegas and came away with a ninth-place finish. After wrecking this past Sunday, we are predicting the No. 22 team gets its first win of the season at Las Vegas and makes it back-to-back wins for Team Penske.
