NASCAR Driver Doesn't Hold Back On Bubba Wallace's First Win In 100 Races originally appeared on The Spun.
Bubba Wallace took home the checkered flag on Sunday evening.
The 23XI Racing driver won the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis. Wallace beat out a loaded field that included the top drivers in the sport. The driver of the No. 23 Toyota bested Kyle Larson, who finished in second place, and Denny Hamlin, Ryan Preece and Brad Keselowski, who rounded out the top five.
Wallace last won in Kansas in 2022. He won at the Kansas Speedway in September of 2022, winning the NASCAR Cup Series race driving the No. 45 Toyota. It was his second-career NASCAR Cup Series victory.
The veteran NASCAR Cup Series driver now has three career victories on the sport's biggest stage.
Congratulations have been pouring in on social media for Wallace, with extremely kind comments coming from NASCAR reporters, analysts, fans and more.
"It wasn’t rain shortened. It wasn’t in a different car number. It was all Bubba. Against the defending race winner & the one many claim to be the best driver in the world. Head-to-head. At Indy. Bubba Wallace earned this," one fan wrote.

Larson, who finished in second place to Wallace's first, made his opinion on the race's outcome extremely clear while speaking to reporters on Sunday night.
The veteran NASCAR Cup Series driver had nothing but good things to say about Wallace and his victory on Sunday evening.
"There's nothing you can do here to pass," he said post-race. "I really don't think I could do anything different. Kind of the same thing as me last year. Congrats to Bubba, that's awesome. He's a great dude."
While opinions of Wallace might be mixed among NASCAR's fan base, it's clear that the sport's drivers are incredibly respective of his talents and character.
Wallace, with his victory, has clinched a spot in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. The 23XI Racing driver missed the Cup Series playoffs last year. He was determined to make it back this year and he's done that, clinching a spot with his victory on Sunday evening.
Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin, the co-owners of 23XI Racing, must be incredibly proud.
