NASCAR changed the Clash weekend schedule at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem this weekend, condensing on-track activity to one day with snow in the forecast.

Clash practice and qualifying will move to Sunday, Feb. 1. NASCAR announced the schedule change on Jan. 29.

The 200-lap Cook Out Clash remains scheduled (for now) for 7 p.m. CT on Feb. 1.

The National Weather Service is forecasting 5-12 inches of snow from Jan. 30-31 in Winston-Salem and across parts of North Carolina.

Saturday, January 31

Snow is forecasted to likely start around 1 a.m. and fall throughout the rest of the day, per the National Weather Service. Snow chances are up to 90%, with accumulation estimated up to a foot of snow. The high temperature is forecasted to be around 23 degrees with lows dipping to 11 degrees, per the NWS, with wind gusts up above 20 mph.

Sunday, Feb. 1

The NWS forecasts a windy, sunny day with a high of 27 degrees in Winston-Salem. The temperature falls to 9 degrees for a low in the evening.

Monday, Feb. 2

The NWS forecasts sunny skies and a high of 36 degrees for Feb. 2, with a low around 17 degrees.
