LEBANON – The King met country music star Morgan Wallen at Nashville Superspeedway on June 1.

Wallen attended the sold out Cracker Barrel 400, where he visited with NASCAR icon Richard Petty, known as the King in NASCAR after seven Daytona 500 wins and seven NASCAR championships.

Wallen is from Knoxville and has a bar in Nashville – This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen. Wallen also recently released a new album, “I’m the Problem,” in May.

Petty is mentioned in the lyrics in Wallen’s song, “I Ain’t Comin’ Back,” which is part of his newly released album.

Nashville Superspeedway is holding its fifth NASCAR Cup Series race this year. It has sold out four of the five years.

Petty is a co-owner of Legacy Auto Club, which has Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek as full-time drivers. Co-owner Jimmie Johnson also drives for the team.
