The Mets have made two more depth acquisitions, signing pitchers Anthony Gose and Luis Ortiz to minor league deals.
Both pitchers will receive invitations to big league spring training.
Gose, 34, began his career as an outfielder before converting to the mound.
In parts of three seasons pitching for the Guardians (2021, 2022, and 2024), he has posted a 4.78 ERA (4.69 FIP) and 1.34 WHIP in 32.0 innings of relief while striking out 11.5 per nine.
Ortiz, 29, has a 4.76 ERA (4.29 FIP) and 1.70 FIP in 34.0 career innings (including two starts) spanning five seasons with the Orioles, Giants, and Phillies.
