Meadow Greens-Ramsey Ladies Golf Club plays “Best Shot” – Austin Daily Herald

The Meadow Greens – Ramsey Ladies Golf Club played a round of “Best Shot” for the season ending game. Players were randomly grouped in three or four person teams. Handicaps were added together, divided by the number of players for a team handicap, and then half of the handicap was subtracted from each of the nine holes for adjusted scores. All players teed off, selected the best shot to play from, and continued in the same format through to the hole.

Winners on the front nine with an adjusted score of 23 (tie broken by handicap hole), was the team of Karen Baier, Barb Ruhter, Chris Swatfager and Mary Jo Swoboda. On the back nine, Mary Christian, Janice Perrigo and Carmel Taylor scored a win with a 23 as well.
