Max Greyserman walked off the 12th hole on Sunday at Riviera Country Club having just posted a double bogey. That came on the heels of four other bogeys (and two birdies) in what was shaping up to be a not-so-hot final round at the 2026 Genesis Invitational.
But he turned that frown upside down two holes later. On the par-3 14th, Greyserman stood 180 yards away from the hole. He struck his tee shot, watched it bounce on the green and then dance in the cup for a hole-in-one.
It’s the first career hole-in-one for Greyserman, and the ace came just moments after Tommy Fleetwood jarred one from the fairway for an eagle on the 15th hole and just moments before Rory McIlroy holed out for birdie from a bunker. There were roars all around the course on Sunday after that.

Greyserman’s ace won him a new Genesis SUV. It also meant a $25,000 donation to charity.
