Mark Martin has been out of NASCAR since the 2013 Cup Series season; however, Kaulig Racing chief executive officer Chris Rice caused a stir on social media. Rice said he got off a call with Martin, and the former NASCAR driver said he wanted to “drive one of those trucks.” So, could Martin return to NASCAR?
Martin reiterated that he has no interest in racing in NASCAR again, the former driver confirmed on social media. Despite the reaction from Rice’s post, it doesn’t appear that Martin will return to NASCAR anytime soon. After all, the 67-year-old has been enjoying his post-NASCAR life without racing on the track.

It would have been amazing if Martin wanted to race in NASCAR one more time, but it doesn’t appear that he will suit up for Kaulig Racing. The organization does have a “Free Agent” truck if he changes his mind. For now, don’t expect Martin behind the wheel of a race car in 2026.
