In a recent report, TuttoJuve claimed that Manchester United are keeping a keen eye on Inter Milan full-back Federico Dimarco. It has been stated that the Red Devils are hoping to bring the Italian talent to Old Trafford next summer.

Dimarco’s Impressive Form In Italian Football

The 28-year-old is having a productive campaign at the Milan club as he has put in a string of impressive displays on the right side of their defence. Dimarco has scored six times and earned 13 assists in 31 matches for Inter this season across various competitions.

The Italian sensation is currently among the best full-backs in Serie A. Thus, Man United would do well to lure him away to Old Trafford this summer.

His current contract at San Siro will expire in the summer of 2027, which could open the door for the Red Devils to sign him on the cheap at the end of this campaign.

Is Dimarco A Good Option For Manchester United Boss Michael Carrick?

Dimarco is a good tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when needed and can create a few inviting chances for his teammates from the left flank.

The Italian talent is a decent dribbler with the ball as well. Dimarco mainly operates as a left-back but can also serve as a centre-back or as a left-sided wide player if told to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League.

Dimarco will add more quality and depth to Man United head coach Michael Carrick’s backline. He is good enough to nail down a regular first-team spot at Old Trafford in the coming seasons.

At 28, Dimarco is playing in his prime, which makes him a great option for the Red Devils to consider this summer. Infact, Carrick doesn’t really have to give him much time to settle into life at the Mancunian club before he can get the best out of the player. With all things considered, Man United should focus on stepping up their efforts to sign him later this year.
