With a confrontation against Oba Femi at this year’s Royal Rumble leaving the fans excited, the former NXT Champion addressed what could be next. During an appearance on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, Oba engaged in a discussion over how frequently Lesnar beat his Black opponents.

Oba Femi proceeded to joke about “Raheem” Cody Rhodes’ success against the Beast Incarnate.

“We have to remember, there’s one Black person that Brock was not able to stop his momentum. Raheem. Raheem was immune to Brock’s stuff. So, one win for us,” he said.

On the February 6 episode of WWE SmackDown, Cody Rhodes raised eyebrows when he made a bold reference to his joke internet nickname, Raheem.

Notably, the American Nightmare faced Lesnar in a series of three matches in 2023 and won two of them, including their final bout at SummerSlam.

Oba Femi teases future confrontation with Brock Lesnar

During the men’s Royal Rumble match, Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar had a couple of intense showdowns. They eventually engaged in battle briefly, before The Ruler was dumped over the top rope by the former WWE Champion.

This left fans a little underwhelmed and wanting more. During the conversation on No-Contest Wrestling, Oba Femi addressed the confrontation.

He said their actions in the ring were based on the crowd reaction and for them to see how much they were invested. Oba mentioned that this was a teaser and they will probably have more interaction down the line.
