There are major WWE RAW stars advertised for this Friday’s episode of SmackDown. This week’s edition of the blue brand will air live from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
According to the Delta Center’s official website, a couple of RAW stars are being advertised for this week’s SmackDown. LA Knight and The Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh are being advertised for a singles match. Knight and McDonagh are both currently on the red brand, and the bout could be a dark match this Friday night.
Bron Breakker got the better of LA Knight in a singles match on this week’s episode of RAW. JD McDonagh pulled off an upset and defeated Sheamus this past Monday night after Finn Balor interfered in the match. It was later announced that AJ Styles and Dragon Lee would be defending their World Tag Team Championships against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh next week on RAW.
Bill Apter suggests major WWE RAW faction is falling apart
Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently suggested that The Judgment Day was falling apart.
Dominik Mysterio is the reigning Intercontinental Champion and also holds the AAA Mega Championship. His stablemates in The Judgment Day have not had the same success as of late, and Apter believes it could lead to the group’s demise.
Speaking on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine show, Apter stated that the company could now feature a storyline that highlights the tension between Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh. He suggested that the popular faction could break up in the coming weeks on WWE television.
“There’s got to be some sort of an angle right now with the whole Dominik situation, JD McDonagh, and that whole group. Finn Balor. They are just gonna, I don’t know, kinda falling apart, it seems right now,” said Bill Apter.
Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were members of The Judgment Day in the past, but they were betrayed by the group at WWE SummerSlam 2024. Only time will tell if Balor and McDonagh can capture the World Tag Team Championships from Styles and Lee next week on WWE RAW.
