Kaulig Racing‘s future is once again in the spotlight as rumors swirled over a potential shakeup inside the organization. After reports recently hinted at the team potentially gearing up to debut in the NASCAR Truck Series and switch manufacturers, a recent speculations hint at movement behind the scenes may already be underway.

A recent post from the trusted Instagram account “NASCAR Rumors & Nostalgia” has sparked new chatter about changes at Kaulig Racing. The post read, “Still trying to get details and figure out if it’s even real or not…but seems like there could be some sudden movement in the Kaulig house.” While vague, it matches up with recent insider talk and reporting that Kaulig Racing is getting ready to make a big change.

Multiple sources have reported Kaulig Racing is looking to enter the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The surprise is they might switch manufacturers, from Chevrolet to Ram.

Ram is already confirmed to return to the Truck Series by 2026. Reports say Kaulig could be an early partner and get Ram back in 2025. That would be a big change since Kaulig has been with Chevrolet and has close ties to Richard Childress Racing and ECR engine support.

Changes Beyond OEM

Beyond the OEM rumors there’s talk of a bigger realignment within Kaulig Racing. Insider chatter says the team might scale back or reorganize their Xfinity Series program. Some think Kaulig will transfer their Xfinity assets to Spire Motorsports while Josh Williams has been linked to Big Machine Racing for 2025.

This would allow Kaulig to focus more resources on their Cup and potentially Truck programs. Teams have done this before, shift resources across the national series to fit their overall strategy.

So far neither Kaulig Racing nor Stellantis has commented on the rumors. But team executives have hinted at new news coming. And with the rumors surfacing during NASCAR’s “silly season” it adds to the plausibility.

Kaulig has also made internal moves that suggest they’re looking to expand. They hired Ty Norris as Chief Business Officer and signed Christian Eckes to a full-time Xfinity ride for 2025. If Kaulig Racing does enter the Truck Series with Ram it would be a big deal for the team.

Here’s how it could play out:

  • Cup Series: Looks like they’ll stick with Chevrolet for now.
  • Xfinity Series: Downsize or reorganize, possibly with Spire Motorsports.
  • Truck Series: Full-time debut with Ram as OEM partner in 2025 or 2026.

Nothing is official yet but the repetition of the rumors and chatter in the community makes it seem hlike something big is brewing at Kaulig.
