In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Liverpool have been offered a chance to land Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. It has been claimed that Los Blancos are planning to use the French talent as a bargaining chip to sign Alexis Mac Allister from the Reds this summer.

Camavinga’s Impressive Season In La Liga

Camavinga has served as an important member of Real Madrid’s squad in this campaign so far. The French talent has participated in 36 matches for Los Blancos this season, finding the back of the net twice and grabbing one assist in multiple competitions.

The 23-year-old is currently among the best central midfielders in La Liga. Hence, the Reds would do well to lure him to Merseyside this off-season.

His current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Liverpool to snap him up on the cheap later this year.

Should Liverpool Boss Arne Slot Get Camavinga On Board?

Camavinga is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his side inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when required and is a good passer as well.

The French sensation can shoot the ball with venom from long range and has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third. Camavinga is full of energy and running in the middle of the park. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League if the Reds manage to get a deal done for him in this summer transfer period.

Camavinga would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Liverpool boss Arne Slot’s midfield department. He would be an upgrade over Alexis Mac Allister, who has struggled to find consistency at the Merseyside club this season.

At 23, Camavinga could grow into a world-class player at Anfield as long as he continues to improve with each year. Therefore, Slot would be wise to go all out to get him on board at the end of this campaign even if he has sanction the sale of Mac Allister in the process.
