The 17-year-old only joined Porto in January on an €8m deal from Jagiellonia Białystok in Poland. The teenage prodigy inked a contract until 2029 – the maximum duration allowed owing to his age.
Meczyki is now reporting that the Dragons are preparing to extend his deal as soon as next summer in a bid to ward off interest from Premier League giants as well as Atletico Madrid.
