According to MailSport’s Jack Gaughan, City are hoping to get a deal done for Ait-Nouri ‘sooner rather than later’ and expect to complete the signing having admired the player for over 12 months.

Wolves have already begun their search for a new left-back in the expectation that Rayan Ait-Nouri will join Manchester City, with the player keen on the move which should be agreed in time for the FIFA Club World Cup, according to The Telegraph’s Jason Burt.

According to Ben Jacobs, Manchester City value Aït-Nouri at around £30 million to £35 million while Wolves want over £40 million. Angers SCO have a 50 per cent sell-on clause on the player, but Wolves can buy this out for a fee in the region of £8.5 million.
