It was recently reported that she appeared for a tryout at WWE. Another report from Bodyslam has now revealed that she has now been signed with the Stamford-based promotion. It also stated that she is expected to report to the company’s Performance Center soon.
It will be interesting to see how Marie Malenko will fit in the current environment of the company.
Marie Malenko could join the Birthright faction on WWE NXT
NXT recently saw the birth of a new faction called “The Birthright”. The faction includes second generation stars in NXT who are looking to make a name for themselves. The group is led by Lexis King who is the son of the late Brian Pillman. It also includes TNA Knockouts World Champion Arianna Grace, the daughter of Santino Marella and his boyfriend Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo.
It also features Uriah Conners (son of Fit Finlay) and Charlie Dempsey (the son of former NXT General Manager William Regal). Marie could definitely join the group if she is brought upto NXT as she is also a second generation star. It would also be a great way to introduce Marie to the new fans who don’t know her.
It will exciting to see how Triple H will book Marie Malenko upon her debut in the company.
