Yahoo Sports senior NBA reporter Vincent Goodwill checks in from USA Basketball men’s national team camp in Las Vegas as the Lakers superstar begins preparations for his fourth Olympics — while at the same time, his professional team opened a new chapter with two new rookies (including son Bronny James) in the California Classic.

This is the fourth Olympic games for lebron James and he’s already played for Tyrann Lou and he’s played for Erik Spoelstra.
This is his first time playing for Steve Kerr.
He’s usually been on the other side in the NBA finals, which also means it’s his first time playing with Stephen Curry and lebron says he’s very much looking forward to playing with him when he returns to the Lakers, he’ll be greeted by two new pieces.
One being his son Brown who played in his first summer league game at the California Classic.
The second being the number 17th pick Dalton Connect connect was not expected to be around for the Lakers and lebron predictably said Dalton Connect was one of his favorite players to watch in college basketball last year.
He’s also very high on podcast partner JJ Reddick, but for now, he’s looking forward to his third gold medal and a star studded cast of Olympic teammates.
