Previously, Rollins had expressed hope that he would like to be back in time for the Show of Shows in April but said the decision is not entirely down to him. Now, the recent edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON) has shed light on how WWE is viewing his status.
The report mentioned that currently the belief in the company is that Seth Rollins will be ready for a WrestleMania 42 match against Bron Breakker. The report adds that the match has been confirmed to be on the schedule for the show in Las Vegas.
The match makes sense since Breakker was the one who took out Rollins in the storyline after his real-life injury.
Notably, in an interview with Casey Buscher, The Architect hinted that he may be the masked man who attacked Breakker at Royal Rumble, leading to his quick elimination.
Seth Rollins spotted with AEW’s MJF amid WWE absence
During his absence from WWE, Seth Rollins has made quite a few media appearances. He was also recently present at a media event for Super Bowl LX.
At the event, he ran into current All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Champion MJF. A video of their interaction surfaced as the two stars were spotted having a conversation. The two even shared a tense staredown before breaking into laughter and shaking hands.
MJF has previously shown his respect to Rollins and praised his accomplishments. It now remains to be seen whether we will see the former WWE Champion compete at WrestleMania 42.
